Technical Difficulties
After several years of good use and much travel, this morning my iBook unfortunately died returning to that big Apple store in the sky. The good news is that I’m going to have some friends helping me keep Hypeful updated over the next few days while I attempt to fix my computer situation.
As I’m sure some of you know, losing a computer is a terrible feeling and I feel even worse about not being able to personally update Hypeful. I appreciate your patience and am anticipating getting everything back to normal ASAP.
In the meantime, I would be very appreciative if anyone knows how I could maybe get a discount on a new MacBook…

My condolences. Best of luck in getting hooked up with a new MacBook. Some may consider this risky, but I got mine off of Craigslist DFW and was able to save several hundred bucks.
If you go this route I would recommend doing what I did and that is to request a photo of the serial number on the machine and then you can check that serial at Apple’s web site. In doing so, I was able to see that this computer had only been purchased a few months before and was still covered under AppleCare which I now have the option of extending an additional two years.
