Julien Temple’s documentary on the Glastonbury festival is available for a free download for the upcoming two weeks at Movielink. Musicians and performances featured in the film include The Velvet Underground, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Primal Scream, Alabama 3, Billy Bragg, Cypress Hill, The Scissor Sisters, Radiohead, Babyshambles, The Levellers, David Gray, Björk, Coldplay, Chemical Brothers, Stereo MC’s, Blur, Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros, English National Opera’s ‘Die Valkyrie’, Ray Davies, Pulp, Faithless, The Bravery, Morrissey, Prodigy, Toots an the Maytals, and David Bowie.
After the promotion, the Glastonbury movie and DVD bonus materials (including Radiohead’s ‘Idioteque’) will be available for $19.99 on Movielink as a permanent download or buy downloads of individual performances by artists for $1.99. An entire collection of performances from the DVD will be available for $15 on the service. The bad news is that Movielink isn’t Mac-friendly.

1You mean there is no way for me to look hipster-rific while visiting Movielink? I will have to use my more affordable, practical, machine?!? Preposterous!
I guess I will have to go there from the un-cool coffee shop.
