The 2007 MTV Movie Awards brought together an array of celebrities last night to help find a cure for Boratitis. We could’ve used a cure for Kazakh impersonators around last November, but any excuse to bring together Oscar winners, billionaires, and Marilyn Manson is cool with Hypeful.

I am very excited to announce a new feature to Hypeful - Podcasts! At the beginning of every month, Hypeful will be offering a fresh mix of music in the form of a podcast. This will allow me to showcase some of the choicest recent tracks, ace songs by featured artists that didn’t get posted, and dust off some older tracks worthy of your attention.

The words “new” and “Lauryn Hill” are rarely used together - under this reclusive Fugee’s Miseducation plan, we are all the child left behind. It took four years after her debut solo album to get new material from her (2002’s MTV Unplugged No. 2.0) and it’s been five years since with no noise from Lauryn. So what’s so big that could pull her back into the studio? Apparently, recording a Gnarlsy dance/workout track intended for the soundtrack of an animated penguin film featuring Shia LaBeouf! Wow - first Shia pulls Indiana Jones out of retirement and now Lauryn Hill! Maybe Shia can get Axl to release Chinese Democracy…
