Hypeful About Clowns

Hey, hey, kids! Hope you don’t have coulrophobia, because the first week of August is National Clown Week! Seriously.
On October 8, 1970, Public Law 91-443 under the 91st Congress, JJR 26 was passed by both the House and Senate and was sent to President Richard Nixon for his signature designating National Clown Week as August 1-7 each year.
To celebrate, here are twelve clown-themed tracks for you to enjoy while you attempt to avoid scary clowns like Stephen King’s It, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and (*shudder*) Patch Adams. Also, this seems like a good time to enjoy the clown-tastic video for Arctic Monkeys’ “Fluorescent Adolescent” and the clip of the band subsequently performing the track live in face paint and floppy shoes.
