Amy Winehouse Heads to Rehab
After being hospitalized for “exhaustion”, Yeeeah! is reporting that Amy Winehouse may be headed to rehab. You have to love their quote:
“I think goes without saying that if you get famous with a song about not wanting to go to rehab — it’s pretty much a guarantee that your ass is going to end up there whether you like it or not. I believe the term for it is sardonic irony.”
Sardonic irony, indeed. While Hypeful only advocates what’s best for her, there’s something troubling about a sober Winehouse (and it’s just not the possible cancellation of her ACL appearance). If Amy sobers up, will there be no more gin-soaked songs for other artists to cover?
