Formed of a group of jazz students, Midlake’s working moniker was originally The Cornbread All-Stars and their initial work consisted of funk/jazz explorations that were heavily influenced by Herbie Hancock.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Midlake is all about the timing and creation of sounds, and although their performances have some moments of passion, they’re mostly subdued and focused on creating a strong auditory experience backed by projected images.
