The Simpsons Season 19 Opening Sequence
If you loved The Simpsons Movie as much as I did but missed last night’s season 19 premiere (”He Loves to Fly and He D’ohs”), you missed out on a terrific and clever opening couch bit. Upon leaving school after his usual routine, Bart rides his skateboard home through a Springfield still reeling from the aftereffects of the town’s dome ordeal. As it was at the end of the film, the city is being rebuilt (by Mr. Burns, no less) and features cameos from several characters found in the film - including America’s favorite non-webslinging swine, Plopper!
