Pete Doherty And Amy Winehouse Recording Track Together

Pete Doherty Amy Winehouse drinking 1939 Returning

I’m getting excited and a hangover just from typing this, but it seems Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse are to record a song with each other. The track is called “1939 Returning” and could be released onto the internet as soon as next week. No word on what the alcohol proof of the song will be, but one could guess somewhere in the ballpark of 1939.

White Stripes Introduce Cameras

White Stripes Cameras - Diana camera and Holga camera lomographic

Jack and Meg White are now the inspiration for a pair of sweet cameras that went on sale today via their website. The “Meg” Diana camera comes with a custom filter and a ringflash accessory, while the “Jack” Holga camera is outfitted with custom filters and a fisheye lens. Adding kitschy lomographic cameras to their merch is a cool move and the first 333 people to order the pair will also receive a free “mystery gift,” which, to this point, remains mysterious. Perhaps it’s a very special video?

Arcade Fire Join Bruce Springsteen Live Onstage

Bruce Springsteen and Arcade Fire Live Onstage

Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and Regine Chassagne made a surprise appearance onstage during the Bruce Springsteen concert in Ottawa last night. Thankfully, some very lucky fans caught video of them performing The Boss’ own “State Trooper” and Arcade Fire’s “Keep the Car Running.” All I can say is I would’ve probably been reacting much like the excited crowd you can hear in the live videos. Check them out over at Spin.

New Band Of Horses Video - “Is There A Ghost”

Band Of Horses Video Is There A Ghost

The new Band of Horses single is a ghost song with a mere 13 words. “I could sleep / when I lived alone / Is there a ghost in my house?” A haunting song with 13 words… spooky. On top of that, they called up “Funeral” director Brian Savelson to give their video his special treatment. Watch it now over at mtvU and hold on to your pillow.
