Ramesh Srivastava in Voxtrot’s Video for “Firecracker”
Combining Hitchcock, mini golf, and one of my favorite songs from their eponymous debut, Voxtrot have just released their video for “Firecracker.” It was directed by Martin Wallace, who’s done videos for bands such as Tindersticks and Pulp in the past. Check it out below.

Top Price For In Rainbows

$205.81

Everybody’s talking about Radiohead’s new album, In Rainbows, and the band’s brilliant marketing plan that allows listeners to choose the price they pay for a digital copy of their album. However, a generous Radiohead fan who wanted to pay $500 for the album discovered that the maximum price the band will accept is $205.81 (or £99.99). So, if you’re wanting to pay the band more than $205.81, looks like you should buy extra digital copies for your friends!

Punk Rock Pre-School With Debbie Harry

Punk Rock Pre-School With Debbie Harry

What happens when Debbie Harry attempts to school the next generation of punk rockers? Hilarity ensues, of course. Watching this video of Blondie’s frontwoman being interviewed by a bunch of rowdy children made me laugh. You have to enjoy seeing youth angrily declare, “The Killers are pansies!!!”

Arcade Fire’s Cryptic Website Message

Arcade Fire cryptic message

Arcade Fire has posted a cryptic message on their website that tells visitors to “be oNline B October 6th.” Lots of rumors are flying around the internets, but NME is reporting that the band will announce a collaboration with LCD Soundsystem - which would probably cause my head to explode.

New Tullycraft - “If You Take Away the Make-Up (Then The Vampires They Will Die)”

Tullycraft

Long title, short song - that’s how Tullycraft is throwing it down with “If You Take Away the Make-Up (Then The Vampires They Will Die).” From their upcoming album, Every Scene Needs a Center, the track clocks in under two minutes long - but is jam-packed with enough twee pop goodness that you’ll likely be hitting repeat to stretch it out. Tullycraft’s new album is scheduled to drop October 23, about a week before those make-up loving vampires will be coming out for Halloween. (via You Aint No Picasso)
