Pete Doherty Dedicates Song to Amy Winehouse

Pete Doherty Amy Winehouse drinking booze drunk

Like a shot and beer chaser, Hypeful is always keen on the boozey combo of Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse. Babyshambles brought their first arena tour to a close in Glasgow over the weekend and Doherty used the opportunity to give Winehouse a shout-out. Doherty dedicated the song “Albion” to Winehouse saying, “She is a really nice girl and this song is for her. Keep the chin up”. High School Musical 2 Soundtrack Sets Worst Best-Seller Record As Sales Slump

High School Musical 2 Soundtrack Sets Record For Worst Best-Seller Ever Zac Effron Rolling Stone cover

SoundScan has announced that the High School Musical 2 soundtrack (featuring Rolling Stone cover boy Zac Efron) is the highest-selling album of 2007. Having only sold 2.3 million copies, the sequel soundtrack also set the notable record for lowest number of copies sold by the year’s best-selling album (slightly comforting news if you’re not a record exec or tween). Each year since 2004 the best-selling album’s final tally has steadily declined and the dubious distinction of lowest-achieving chart topper previously belonged to (you guessed it) - last year’s High School Musical soundtrack, which sold 3.7 million copies. With High School Musical 3 set for 2008, expect Kanye West to challenge Efron for chart dominance next year.

Could this clip from The Soup be an eerie prediction of the next two years’ chart-toppers?
