She and Him Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward Collaboration

Zooey Deschanel dropped by KCRW’s Open Road program on Sunday night and discussed her upcoming collaboration with M. Ward. After working together on the soundtrack for the film The Go-Getter, the duo decided to musically collaborate further and have been recording under the name She and Him. With their album Volume One set to drop in March, the pair gave Open Road listeners a preview of what to expect from She and Him by playing some of their tunes. You can listen to Sunday’s Open Road show if you missed it and I’ll post some of their tracks below for your listening enjoyment.

  1. yr welcome. ;)

  2. Too bad nothing ever came of her collaboration with Will Ferrell on “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” in “Elf”

  3. “You’ve really got a hold on me” is one of my favorite songs ever and I really enjoyed this cover of it.
