Ringo Walks Off Live; Still Loves Regis

Ringo Starr Regis Philbin

It seems to be a hot week for musicians and morning talk shows. Ringo Starr broke from his “amiable Beatle” reputation earlier today when he walked off the set of Live With Regis and Kelly rather than cut short one of his songs. Refusing to make the changes, Ringo left saying, “God bless and goodbye. We still love Regis.” Has there ever been a more true statement?

It’s cool that they’re helping to promote the Juno soundtrack, but you can’t help but think Juno herself would shudder at the idea of Kimya Dawson and Adam Green appearing on the morning gabfest.
