There’s so many reasons to visit the cineplex in the coming year, it may be a good time to invest in Milk Duds and stop worrying about how the writer’s strike is affecting your favorite TV shows. Rock Us With Your Caucus

I Voted Election

The Democratic and Republican caucuses are going down tonight in Iowa, so I thought a couple of voting-themed tracks would be apropos today. If you happen to live in Iowa, definitely go out and exercise your democratic right by casting a ballot. The opportunity to vote without having to deal with Ryan Seacrest is always a beautiful thing.

Mashup of 2007’s Top 25 Tracks

DJ Earworm United State of Pop

DJ Earworm has put together a mashup of Billboard’s top 25 tracks for the US for all of 2007. This past year’s Top 40 was rather sub-par, but Earworm has done an ace job of squeezing these 25 songs into one easy-to-swallow 5-minute track.

Thom Yorke Reveals Favorite Radiohead Track

Thom Yorke Videotape

Thom Yorke revealed to BBC 4 that his personal favorite track from In Rainbows is also his all-time favorite Radiohead creation. Yorke’s fave is “Videotape,” which he wanted to put first on the new album but jokingly feared people would’ve turned straight off. He elaborated on his affection for the track by saying:

“I like [Videotape] because it very much happened despite me and the others taking the reigns - we turned it into this really stripped down thing. Personally speaking, that’s my favorite thing we’ve ever created because it has the inexpressible substance going on behind the specifics of the song, so I’m really proud of that.”
