Her Space Holiday Covers Wolf Parade’s “I’ll Believe In Anything”

Her Space Holiday has done an ace cover of Wolf Parade’s “I’ll Believe In Anything.” Remember Spencer Krug’s appeals for sunshine in the original version of Wolf Parade’s infectiously ragged anthem? Her Space Holiday has responded by parting the grey clouds and reworking the track into an upbeat singalong. It’s highly recommended for your listening pleasure, but be warned - it packs the earworm catchiness of the original and is just as likely to get stuck in your head on repeat!

I don’t like the cover at all…
love it
I agree with Allan… the cover doesn’t do justice to the Wolf Parade version, or even the very raw Sunset Rubdown version….
it isn’t good.
i can’t believe you guys don’t like this cover. i don’t have a clue what you mean by doing justice to the original. you can barely compare it to the original because her space holiday did such a good job of incorporating their style into this song. they are practically 2 different songs. as for sunset rubdown’s version, i had a hard time noticing a difference between the two. why would you want to listen to a cover that sounds identical to the original when you could just listen to the original?
The Sunset Rubdown version is the original and the Wolf Parade version is the cover. Krug recorded it by himself and released it on Snakes Got A Leg (which in itself was a “best of” of 5 EPs he released earlier). He obviously took it to Wolf Parade, who liked it enough that they cleaned it up, gave it a band treatment and released it to a wider audience.
Love this version, btw.
