It’s rare that musical guests perform on The Daily Show (The White Stripes were the first in 2005 and Tom Waits played on Jon Stewart’s birthday in 2006). So, it’s worth noting that Coldplay joined an exclusive club of artists last night when they dropped by the DS studios to perform two tracks (”42″ and “Lost!”) off Viva La Vida. Check it out below!

1I hate Chris’s hair so much. On my hatred scale I rank it up there with snake bites and spiders. I do like the new album though. Maybe their best effort yet.
