
Lily Allen has released a new track entitled “Who’d Of Known” that she admits won’t make it on to her upcoming sophomore album because she’s “ripped off” Take That. (Honestly, what’s up with the Brits and plagiarism this year? It’s so hot!) On her MySpace blog, Allen wrote (verbatim):
i haveput up a song that wont make it on the album . i ripped off the chous from take that and i can’t be bothered with the paperwork , so here ya go .
If you listen and compare for yourself below, Allen’s right - her track bears an uncanny resemblance to the boy band’s 2007 #1 single “Shine.” (Although, personally, I prefer Allen’s version…)
