The free pups already have their first shots and come with an instruction/owner’s manual. The big countdown has ended and Bloc Party has revealed…a new track entitled “Mercury”! Speaking to Zane Lowe, leadsinger Kele Okereke revealed that the single will be officially released August 11th and speculated that the completed third album could be out by the end of the year. Following in the dance footsteps of the Jacknife Lee-produced “Flux,” the new song further hints at the electronic progression the band might be making on the new record.
