Although there’s no release date set for Vampire Weekend’s sophomore release, 2008’s prep princes have been showcasing a few new ditties. First up, the group performed live staple “White Sky” complete with a string section for Jimmy Fallon. (They also found time backstage to hang with Mr. Belding!)
Next up, they headed south of the border to Guadalajara, Mexico to play “Cousins” for the first time(?) ever for a live audience.

Welcome back, Ramesh! After laying far too low for the past couple of years, Voxtrot have announced their return with a new song and SXSW showcase plans. The new tune was produced and recorded by Jim Eno (Spoon) at his studio in Austin and available for your listening pleasure below.

Check out Pete Doherty’s lovely acoustic version of “Last of the English Roses,” the first single from his upcoming solo effort Grace/Wastelands (Mar 24th). Additionally, the full album is now spinning over on Pete’s MySpace page. (via Culture Bully)
