With their debut album set to drop next week (The Age Of The Understatement, April 21st), The Last Shadow Puppets have released four new videos. Recorded live at Avatar Studios in New York last month, the clips feature Alex Turner and Miles Kane wearing all black (Sprockets, anyone?) and going “unplugged” on four songs from their forthcoming disc. Neil Diamond’s 27th studio album(!) and the follow-up to his brilliant 2005 12 Songs, Home Before Dark (May 6th), once again pairts the music icon up with super-mega-legendary producer/beard-o Rick Rubin. (If your heart isn’t palpitating by the news of this release, you should either consult a doctor or seriously check out 12 Songs.) The album’s first single, “Pretty Amazing Grace,” is premiering today on Amazon.com via a live, in-studio performance and will be showing for one week only.
